WWE Struggled to Sell Seats for Backlash PPV

WWE was not able to sellout last night’s Backlash PPV. When tickets first went on sale before matches were announced, WWE sold around 9,500 tickets. Sales “stalled completed” once WWE announced matches for Backlash. It’s being reported that 9,800-10,000 tickets were sold in total for the event. The demand for the PPV in Chicago was not there, which could be attributed to high ticket prices.
