WWE champion AJ Styles did not compete during last night’s SmackDown Live event in Odessa, Texas despite being advertised to appear. Styles was taken to the back during Friday’s Madison Square Garden show following an attack from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, and while it initially seemed like a work, some fans are now wondering whether or not the injury was legitimate. Styles is currently scheduled to defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura
