Tensions continued to rise between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.On the September 16 episode of WWE RAW, The New Day (Woods and Kingston) challenged Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. The Judgment Day got involved, as they came to ringside.
The LWO also brawled with the Judgment Day. The referee got distracted by the chaos, and he missed a pin attempt by Woods. The distraction proved to be costly, as Balor and McDonagh went on to score the win.
