It was originally speculated that Paul Heyman might have been involved in the booking of the WWE SummerSlam main event finish, due to its MMA feel. 
In a new update, it’s being said Heyman did not book the “controversial” finish, but rather it was borrowed from another finish. Reports say the original planned finish was changed to what we saw Sunday night, but the idea was not from Heyman.
