Rey Fenix will defend the gold on the October 4 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, Rey Fenix defended the AEW International Championship against Jeff Jarrett. Later in the show, Nick Jackson beat Claudio Castagnoli and Brian Cage to earn a shot at the gold. AEW then confirmed that Jackson will challenge Fenix for the title on October 4. The October 4 episode will mark the show’s four-year anniversary.
