Report: WWE Forming Special Stable For SmackDown Live Brand

- There’s been reported speculation of WWE forming a new stable on the SmackDown Live brand would contain talent that have a accomplished collegiate wrestling background.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the new group would be similar to the old Varsity Club group from the old NWA/WCW days, which featured Kevin Sullivan, Rick Steiner and Mike Rotunda in their “Letterman Jackets” from their college wrestling days.
