Original Plan for Cruiserweight Title Match at WWE Payback PPV

Meltzer reports that WWE officials changed the ending to the cruiserweight title match at Payback PPV. Neville was set to defeat Austin Aries but the plan was changed that weekend. The belief is that officials decided to allow Aries to win via disqualification to protect his character. He would come off looking weak by losing twice to Neville since the feud was not ending at Payback.
