Did Rusev Ask For His WWE Release?

On the latest edition of PWInsider Elite Audio, Mike Johnson revealed a possible reason why Rusev was a last-minute addition to the US Title match at WrestleMania. Johnson said that at least one source told him that Rusev had been unhappy at how he was being used and had asked for his released.
Putting Rusev in the US Title match is meant to placate the ‘Bulgarian Brute’.
