Backstage Note On WWE Releasing Billy Gunn

As earlier noted, Billy Gunn was released from his job as a NXT trainer at the WWE Performance Center. Gunn tested positive for performance enhancing drugs at a power-lifting competition back in July. The WWE was not aware of Gunn’s suspension or that he participating in these competitions.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Live mentioned the WWE currently only tests their contracted talents, not coaches or staff of the Performance Center. WWE officials were forced to release Gunn to
