Backstage Note On The Upcoming WWE Brand Split, Today’s Birthdays & More

– Regarding the reported return of the brand extension to WWE, it was stated on The Wrestling Observer Live that RAW and SmackDown will each have their own set of referees for when the brand split kicks off again later this summer. That was also the case with the original brand extension. The brand split is reported to start July 19 when SmackDown will go live on the USA Network. A draft is currently rumored to take place on the July 11th RAW but that could change.
