Backstage News on WWE’s Knowledge of Daniel Bryan’s Retirement, Medical Test Details, Samoa Joe Posts Comment, ESPN – Bryan Coverage

As noted, Daniel Bryan mentioned in his retirement speech on WWE Raw tonight that he underwent tests about a week and a half ago, and the tests revealed his brain was not in as good of shape as he thought. According to PWInsider.com, the tests Bryan was referring to took place the Thursday before the Royal Rumble PPV. The tests were done in New York City, and from there Bryan flew to Pittsburgh for an appearance.
With regards to Bryan’s retirement, it’s bei
