AJ Styles would beat The Miz in the main event of SmackDown, but a vicious attack from Daniel Bryan leaves him wounded to close the show.
The WWE Champion would watch the match from ringside as Styles looked to avenge the earlier attack by Miz. Bryan would try to distract Styles, but it was all in vain as Styles would make Miz submit to the Calf Crusher. Bryan would immediately go on the attack, chop blocking the left knee of Styles multiple times and locking in
