Shankland encouraged by Rangers performance despite defeat

Rangers striker Lawrence Shankland has seen enough from his side to believe they are heading in the right direction. The former Hearts striker joined the Glasgow club earlier this summer, along with manager Derek McInnes as the Ibrox side continue to search for their first win under the new boss. Rangers drew 1-1 with Dundee United in their first league game of the new season last week, before losing 2-1 to Jagiellonia Bialystok in the first leg of the Europa League qualifier. Sunday's defeat to
