Home extends Heed stay as Storey exits for Carlisle

Josh Home has signed a two-year contract extension with an option for a further 12 months with National League side Gateshead.The 20-year-old midfielder joined the Tyneside outfit from Birmingham City on loan in December 2023 before making his stay permanent the following season.Home, who has signed a deal until May 2028, made 39 league appearances for Gateshead as they finished 18th in the fifth tier last season.Gateshead remain in the hunt for a new manager after Rob Elliot and assistant Louis
