Gillingham bring in versatile midfielder Freeman

Gillingham have signed midfielder Nick Freeman following the end of his deal with Shrewsbury last season.The 30-year-old can play in defence or at wing-back and has been on trial with the Gills, featuring in two pre-season matches.He scored one goal in 16 games for Shrewsbury after joining them in January, having previously spent two and a half years with Stevenage where he played 86 games.
