The 2018 Legislature starts its 45-day general session Monday, expected to focus on issues from education to Medicaid expansion, homelessness and tax reform.Lawmakers were scheduled to convene at 10 a.m., when House Speaker Greg Hughes and Senate President Wayne Niederhauser will give speeches outlining their goals.Lawmakers have opened more than 1,200 bill files to draft legislation — and more than 300 bills have been numbered and publicly released, ready for quick introduction on Monday.
