Woman, 27, dies in Provo shooting

A woman was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in a home in Provo.Police received reports of a shooting about 4 p.m. Tuesday near 300 East and Center Street, according to Provo police. Officers found Freya Larsen, 27, had been shot once in the head, police said. She was taken to Utah Valley Hospital, where she died.Investigators have detained a “person of interest,” police wrote.
