Utah’s Tony Finau is almost certain make the cut in U.S. Open

Tony Finau enjoyed and endured another adventurous finish in the U.S. Open in Friday’s second round, making two birdies and two double bogeys on his second nine — the front nine of Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. The Lehi resident posted a 2-over-par 72, giving him a 7-over total for 36 hole. As of the moment he finished, Finau was just outside the 36-hole cut line in a tie for 61st place.
