Utah man breaks state spearfishing record

Tooele, Utah • A Utah man has set a state spearfishing record.The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has announced 39-year-old Jacob Hansen of Tooele broke the state record for spearfishing a tiger muskie fish on June 13 at Fish Lake in southern Utah.Hansen’s record-breaking fish is 51 inches long and weighs 32 pounds.Hansen said he spotted the record-breaking fish while teaching his daughter how to spearfish at a family reunion on Fish Lake.
