UTA, Sandy dedicate new trail to TRAX station

The Utah Transit Authority and Sandy City on Thursday dedicated a new $3.7 million path for pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders to help connect the Sandy Civic Center TRAX station with the surrounding area.It includes a tunnel under the TRAX rails, and ties into 10200 South and the Dimple Dell and Sandy Rail trails.“Pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians will now have further connectivity east to west via Sandy’s extensive trail system,” said Sandy Mayor Kurt Bradburn. &ld
