Two small quakes rattle southern Utah
Two small earthquakes hit southern Utah early Tuesday morning, rattling local residents.The first — measured at magnitude 3.74, according to the University of Utah Seismograph Stations — was centered about six miles north of Pine Valley in Washington County, which is about 27 miles north of St. George. A second quake, measured at 2.7, hit the same area at 6:29 a.m.There have been no reports of damage.
