Two small earthquakes rattle southern Utah
Two small earthquakes hit southern Utah early Tuesday morning, rattling local residents.The first quake struck at 2:44 a.m. It measured at magnitude 3.74, according to the University of Utah Seismograph Stations, and was centered about six miles north of Pine Valley in Washington County, which is about 27 miles north of St. George. A second quake, measured at 2.7, hit the same area at 6:29 a.m.There have been no reports of damage.
