Two men dead after small plane crashes in Cedar City

Two people died after a small plane crashed in Cedar City on Sunday morning.Two men, ages 52 and 63, were in a single-engine plane that hit a 300-foot communications tower near 6500 W. 4000 South at 8:45 a.m. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.Cedar Communications received a distress call about 5 miles south of the Cedar City Regional Airport.The names of the two men have not been released.
