Tennessee man drowned in Deer Creek State Park

A 71-year-old Tennessee man drowned Wednesday at Deer Creek State Park.Daniel Thompson, from Newport, Tenn., was boating with family and friends between Wallsbury Bay and the Rainbow Cove area at Deer Creek State Park Wednesday afternoon when his hat fell into the water, according to the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation.
