SWAT standoff in Millcreek ends with man dead<br>

A SWAT team and Unified Police officers surrounded a Millcreek home Monday morning, but were unable to convince an armed and suicidal man inside to surrender before he allegedly shot and killed himself.UPD Lt. Brian Lohrke reported the incident began about 7:30 a.m. at a residence in southeastern Salt Lake County, 3368 Crestwood Drive. Efforts to convince the barricaded man to give up continued into late morning, when a gunshot rang out from inside the home.
