Suspect killed, officer wounded in shootout in West Jordan

A man was killed by West Jordan police officers on Sunday night in a shootout that left a police officer with a bullet in his shoulder.West Jordan police said a resident was following a stolen pickup truck, which belonged to one of the resident’s relatives, and called police about 8 p.m. Sunday, Fox13 reported.Police caught up with the truck near 2400 West and 7700 South. For awhile, the people in the truck refused to get out. Eventually, one person did, and exchanged gunfire with officers
