The University of Utah volleyball team closed out a 3-0 opening weekend with a 26-24, 22-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-13 victory over No. 23 Cal Poly on Saturday night at the Huntsman Center.It’s the first time the Utes have beaten two AVCA ranked teams to start the season in program history.Utah dug deep in the fifth set, winning three of the final four points to stay perfect on the weekend.
