South Salt Lake man missing from nursing home overnight returns safe

Police say a man who who went missing overnight from his South Salt Lake residential nursing facility returned on his own Friday.South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller said 66-year-old Jimmy Brown said he had spent the night at a friend’s house. He walked back to the Avalon Valley Rehabilitation Center, at 2472 S. 300 East, late Friday morning.Keller said Brown was reported unharmed and safe.SSLPD had issued an endangered and missing person’s alert late Thursday night for Brown
