Search on for missing airplane in northern Utah

Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday were looking for a missing airplane along an edge of the Great Salt Lake.The small airplane was last reported near Promontory Point in Box Elder County, and sheriff’s deputies are looking in that vicinity, according to a dispatcher. Few other details were immediately available.Promontory Point is due west of Willard on the other side of Bear River Bay. The Salt Lake Tribune will update this story as more information is available.
