It can be prolonged and even expensive training — doctors, scientists, lawyers, etc. But few jobs require such diverse training as law enforcement.Emergency medical care, traffic crash investigation, childbirth, gunfights, unarmed defensive tactics, search and rescue, riot control — it’s a huge list.
