Richfield wins Class 3A baseball title; Grantsville completes three-peat in 3A softball

The Richfield Wildcats are Class 3A baseball champions.On Saturday the Wildcats won their first state baseball crown since 1992 by defeating Summit Academy 9-3 in Kearns in the Class 3A title game. The No. 1-seeded Wildcats finished the year 25-3. Richfield punched its ticket to the championship game Friday by beating Summit Academy 8-4.
