Police identify Sandy woman killed in shooting

Police have identified a woman killed in a shooting Wednesday in Sandy as 18-year-old Aliani Mejia-Marin.A 14-year-old boy is being held in a juvenile detention center in connection with the shooting.The alleged shooter and the victim, who were neighbors in a Sandy mobile home park, got into a “heated argument” and shots were fired about 6 p.m. Wednesday near 200 W.
