Pole Creek fire forces evacuations in Juab County

Evacuation orders remained in effect on Thursday morning in Juab County as the Pole Creek fire grew to an estimated 1,500 acres.Utah County Emergency Management evacuated about eight homes along the Nebo Creek road to the junction with Highway 89 on Wednesday night when they were threatened by the fire, which is burning in the Mount Nebo Loop area.
