Ogden officials consider extending MLK, Cesar Chavez streets
Ogden • Ogden officials are considering extending portions of two city streets named after civil rights leaders after recent and renewed public interest.The Standard-Examiner reported Wednesday that Ogden officials renamed a portion of 24th Street after black civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. in 1995 and renamed a part of 30th Street after labor leader and Latino civil rights activist Cesar Chavez in 2003.The city council is now considering extending those honorary designations by
