Ogden courthouse resumes operations after bomb threat that caused evacuation found not credible
Ogden’s 2nd District courthouse resumed operations Thursday after a morning bomb threat prompted evacuations.The threat was called into the Weber County sheriff’s office and the building had been evacuated by 9:37 a.m., according to tweets from court officials.But by noon, following a law enforcement sweep of the buildig, the threat was deemed not credible.Grant Avenue in Ogden was temporarily closed from 25th Street to 26th Street during the search, police said.
