I am encouraged by the legislative requirements that will bring long-overdue organizational changes to the Utah Transit Authority. No doubt, we can all agree with Gov. Gary Herbert’s chief of staff, who recently stated: “Our transportation future must include a pivotal role for transit. However, that will require confidence in and public trust of the UTA Board of Trustees and their administration.”In the coming months, we will see substantive changes in the governance structure
