McNeese State tabs BYU assistant Heath Schroyer as its next head basketball coach

Provo • Assistant basketball coach Heath Schroyer’s second stint at BYU was shorter than his first. Schroyer, who joined coach Dave Rose’s staff last summer when North Carolina State’s staff was released, was named McNeese State’s new head basketball coach on Thursday by Director of Athletics Bruce Hemphill.Schroyer made his only season at BYU count, breathing life into a program that struggled defensively and in its halfcourt offense.“Grateful to have worked w
