Man falls through ice into South Jordan lake

A man fell through the ice into Oquirrh Lake in South Jordan on Friday morning.Fire crews were called out to the ice rescue about 11:21 a.m. at the Daybreak community, near 4500 W. Daybreak Parkway (11239 South), according to a Valley Emergency Communications dispatcher.The man was out of the lake by the time rescue crews arrived. They were treating him at the scene as of 11:45 a.m., the dispatcher said.The Tribune will update this story as more information becomes available.
