Letter: Will we ever learn?

My heart, along with everyone else’s, breaks for the tragic loss of Officer Nathan Lyday. My concerns, however, are regarding his funeral service. What was the reasoning behind allowing more than 1,000 mourners to be present when only a small percentage were wearing face masks? Our COVID-19 numbers continue to increase at an alarming rate daily and this is just one example of why. When will we ever learn?Diane Johnson, Salt Lake CitySubmit a letter to the editor
