Letter: Wild places must endure
Recently, my brother introduced his California hillbilly sibling to Utah’s wonders with a meandering jaunt south to the Mojave.With soaring peaks at every turn and for any occasion, many still ladled with snow, signs of Spring abundant, I fell hard for the Beehive State.From my brother’s running narrative, I learned the Utah’s geology must fill at least three thick volumes to describe how Nature nearly wore herself out in birthing such splendors as our eyes and science reveal.T
