Letter: Why Utah is dragging its heels on climate issues

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints met recently for its General Conference. Their prophet, and other leaders, spoke to members to ready themselves for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.That phrase got me thinking. With close to 100% of our state legislators being members of this church, could that be the reason for legislators to be dragging their heels when it comes to really taking climate change seriously?
