Letter: Why no party?

I do not belong to either of the predominant political parties. I trust in more unified and moderate respectful debate and prefer people who focus on solutions. When reason prevails we all have cause to celebrate as a community, not as a party.Why not a Democrat? I believe it was Will Rogers who once said, “I do not belong to any organized political party, I am a Democrat.” Enough said.Why not a Republican? I am not sure that party still exists. The Republican Party I could respect w
