Letter: Utah wants to have it both ways

Let me see if I understand this correctly. The powers that be want the owners and drivers of electric cars in Utah to pay their fair share for the use of the highways and roads. To me, that means that everyone pays for the use of them.Using the same logic, the ones who have large families (and lots of students in school) should be paying their fair share of income taxes for education. But, in their so-called wisdom, the powers that be have given them an increase in the amount of tax deductions.
