Letter: Trump’s USPS corruption

On Aug. 13, the president admitted that his motivations for not seeking funding for the United States Postal Service are to inhibit voting by mail. This is patently corrupt and obviously politically motivated and wrong.The president needs to be held to account for his unabashed corruption, and the USPS needs to be funded. The USPS is a vital service for millions of Americans; it is a public good and it deserves to be funded properly. S.4174 in the Senate should be passed, in addition to the HERO
