Letter: The virus may be the planet’s response to us

As I am a 76 year old senior, like most others on this planet earth I have been concerned over COVID-19 for the past year and doing everything reasonably possible to avoid infection. I reflected on the extensive worldwide efforts to contain the virus and somehow had an epiphany as to what is really happening.My thoughts reflected all the issues and events possibly relating the virus and our environment, global warming and climate change. I have long expressed (as published in my 2015 editorial)
