Letter: The right to make bad decisions

I am 66 years old with a compromised immune system. I wear a mask when I go out in public and don’t understand the protests.People need to come to grips with the fact that, despite the move to open up the country, there is still a danger of getting sick and dying.I particularly do not understand the big guns and ammo belts at the protests. The Nazi banners disgust me.I hear the cry, “I have rights. The government is denying me my rights.”Unfortunately, people in America do have
