Letter: Support universal background checks

Edwin Rutan’s recent letter in The Salt Lake Tribune regarding universal background checks for the purchase of guns made good sense.Since the vast majority of Utahns, including responsible gun owners, support this initiative, I hope that our Utah legislators will listen to their constituents this year and support a House bill that will help to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people, and still support our Second Amendment rights.Rep.
