Letter: Rail line is a pipe dream from the past

The Salt Lake Tribune reported on its June 14 front page that an eastern Utah railway proposal received $21.4 million in funding to build a rail line to enable the Uintah Basin to increase oil production.This should not happen.Every ounce of CO2 emissions that is introduced into the atmosphere hastens the demise of our planet.
