Letter: Pulling the plug on Grandma

Dear Gov. Herbert:I was impressed when you committed to bringing Utah’s daily case count under 400 and did it. I am equally as dismayed that you abandoned a successful strategy and have let the case counts run roughshod over our senior population.Remember in 2009 when Sen. Chuck Grassley said we were “pulling the plug on Grandma”? You are pulling the plug on Grandma and Grandpa, too. With five deaths a day, most of them over 65, we can expect to lose another 400 Utah residents
