Letter: Not everyone deserves federal payments

I 100% disagree with Thomas Michie’s letter, “$600 isn’t enough.” It is outrageous to give $2,000 per person to people who make $75,000 per year ($150,000 if married filing jointly) if they are still working.Unemployment is no more than 10 to 15%, so at least 85% of the people getting the money are still working. Even giving $600 to those still working is outrageous. At the very least, the limit on income to receive a stimulus payment should be between $30,000 and $40,000
